There is 30 minutes parking out the front of the store on New North Road before 4pm ( from 4pm the street becomes a clear way). If this car park is full or you are visiting after 4pm please park in our car park around the back of the building (entrance off Ruru Street number 39).

Cutoff dates for Christmas Delivery are Monday 23rd December 2pm* (Thursday 19th Dec for Rural Deliveries). Our store will be open from 9am - 3pm on Tuesday 24th December for in-store collection.

*Overnight Courier Delivery: Targeted for next working day between major town and cities. Add two days for rural.

A couple of weeks ago Ferntech and Airsight teamed up to conduct a demo on the NextCore RN50 LiDAR. We were joined by top surveying companies around the North Island regions to talk about the benefits of the RN50 LiDAR. LiDAR is an active technology — distance calculation is performed instantly by the sensor. Point clouds are available within minutes rather than hours after landing. LiDAR also needs only one return from a surface to make it present in the point cloud. As a result, it is very effective at penetrating even the densest of canopy coverage. DJI Ferntech brings LiDAR technology to New Zealand with the use of DJI drones. NextCore RN50 is specifically designed to work seamlessly with the DJI M600 and provides high-quality LiDAR data in an easy to use package. LiDAR boasts many benefits over photogrammetry including excellent tree penetration to create high-quality terrain models under tree canopies, the ability to model large areas while not capturing enormous amounts of excess data, ability to model regardless of lighting conditions.
